The State and Outlook of Nuclear Generation
Explore the future of U.S. nuclear energy and how shifting policies, next-generation technologies like SMRs and microreactors, and global competitiveness are shaping the nuclear landscape.
Renew engaged Energeia to review the range of issues related to solar PV, storage and EV adoption, the potential solutions for resolving them, including those potentially offered by consumer, prosumers and service providers, in order to identify the value maximising solution for Australia.
The discussion and options paper is available here.
Following the industry’s reception of this paper, Energeia was again engaged by Renew to develop and implement a whole-of-system modelling methodology that would support the identification of the optimal future state for consumers that best meets the National Electricity Objectives (NEO), the role of DER, and level of DER enablement needed to realise it.
The findings of this stage 2 technical report are available here.
